Become a GOLD Credit Union volunteer

Hey, we're proud of our professional staff, but GOLD would not exist without the hard work and passionate energy of our many volunteers.

As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative, we rely on the participation of members to fulfill our mission. Many of our members, in true GOLD fashion, seek to make an impact and take us up on the offer to contribute to the Credit Union's success.

Your willingness to volunteer time and talent can help other members meet their financial goals, help conceptualize new financial products and digital services, and give back to your community.

How GOLD Credit Union volunteers serve

We're fortunate — and proud — to say that our volunteers' influence can be felt all throughout our organization. We'd like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for their time and efforts.

Our Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee seats are the most visible volunteer positions within GOLD Credit Union. Their leadership has consistently helped guide us toward success and ensures we remain true to our core values. Elections for these roles take place each year at our Annual Meeting.

Volunteers also play a major role across a number of committees and in the facilitation of our events throughout the year. From the Annual Meeting itself to our shred events, financial education seminars, and scholarship program, our volunteers' contributions are integral to our efforts to provide value to our members.

Get involved as a volunteer with GOLD

We're always looking for members who'd like to contribute their valuable insights and diverse skills to our organization. While our volunteers must be members in good standing, and we're interested in your special set of skills, what's most important is your enthusiasm for the Credit Union's spirit of "people helping people."

The easiest way to become involved is to first attend our Annual Meeting, during which you'll see our democratic framework in action, and learn about the state of the Credit Union, exciting developments on the horizon, and where you can make the most impact.

Are you interested in volunteering for GOLD Credit Union? If so, we’d like to get in touch with you.
