How Does the Annual Meeting Work?

If you're not familiar with our Annual Meetings or haven't attended in the past, we've got the scoop on what you can expect.

State of GOLD Credit Union: Hear from our President & CEO, Cheryl Bartholomew, and learn about the successes and challenges we were met with in 2022, and the goals and initiatives we've got in place looking ahead in 2023 and beyond.

Elections: There are currently four (4) Board positions and two (2) Supervisory Committee positions available in 2023. The Nominating Committee has selected four (4) candidates for the Board positions and two (2) candidates for the Supervisory Committee positions.

Any Member interested in running for a Board or Supervisory Committee position should contact Dan Moffitt, Board Secretary, at 610-838-9276. Mr. Moffitt will provide the information and requirements necessary to submit a nomination petition. The nomination petition must be signed by at least 1% of the Members in good standing, a minimum of 93 and a maximum of 500 signatures. Completed petitions must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Because there is already at least one nominee for each position, there will be no nominations from the floor during the Annual Meeting.
A vote will be held only if there are more than four (4) Board candidates or two (2) Supervisory Committee candidates. Should a vote be held, every GOLD Credit Union Member who is 18 or older and physically present at the meeting or logged into the virtual meeting with their full name displayed is entitled to vote.

Member Q & A: The annual meeting is jam-packed with important information, and we'd like to encourage you to ask questions or share comments and suggestions for how GOLD can continue to best serve our Members and local community.
