Community Involvement

At GOLD, we consider the credit union to be a member of the community. It's where we live and work, and where many of you live and work too. We take part in a variety of efforts to do our part in making our community the best it can be.

Where You'll See GOLD in the Community

Lehigh Valley Phantoms 2021-2022 Hockey Season

GOLD is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the 2021-2022 hockey season. As with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, we're proud that we will once again be sponsoring the GOLD Star Award during the hockey season. The GOLD Star Award will honor first responders who bravely serve and protect our community.

The GOLD Star Award recognition will be presented to 20 individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty for our local community throughout the season, and GOLD will be on-site at several of the games to personally recognize the first responders. Look for us at the PPL Center when you attend games this season! We'll be at the rink for the following games:

Wednesday, November 3
Saturday, December 4
Saturday, January 15
Sunday, January 30
Saturday, February 12
Wednesday, March 2

Laura Pruitt: The Kindness Project

The Kindness Project is a donation-based nonprofit organization providing support and resources to families and children in foster care throughout the Lehigh Valley community and surrounding areas. They serve our local community by supplying families with clothing, shoes, furniture, and other necessities completely free of charge.

GOLD's Marketing Manager, Laura Pruitt, volunteers her time at the physical shop location, "The Kindness Exchange," in Emmaus. She helps serve foster families that visit the shop in need of essential items for their foster placements.
