Community Involvement

At GOLD, we consider the credit union to be a member of the community. It's where we live and work, and where many of you live and work too. We take part in a variety of efforts to do our part in making our community the best it can be.

What's Coming Up Next?

  • GOLD is proud to support and be a sponsor for St. Luke's virtual "Dinner by Starlight" event on Thursday, November 4. Dinner by Starlight is a fundraising event that honors local members of the Allentown community for their dedication in making a positive impact in our area. This year, the honor will be collectively presented to St. Luke's Allentown Campus frontline workers for their care and selflessness in serving our community during these unprecedented times. Proceeds raised will go toward the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Department. Make a donation.
  • GOLD is thrilled to be partnering with the Allentown chapter of Toys for Tots once again this holiday season. Join us in bringing the magic of the holidays to local children and their families in our community by donating to Toys for Tots. We're collecting new, unwrapped toys or book donations at both our branch locations now through Tuesday, December 14.
  • Hockey season is here! Look for GOLD at the PPL Center throughout the 2021-2022 Phantoms hockey season as we present the GOLD Star Award.

Where You'll See GOLD in the Community

St. Luke's University Health Network presents: Dinner by Starlight

GOLD is proud to support our friends at St. Luke's as a sponsor for this year's virtual Dinner by Starlight event on Thursday, November 4. Dinner by Starlight is an annual fundraising event that recognizes members of the Allentown community for making a positive and lasting difference through their gifts of time and talent.

This year, the Honorary Star will recognize not just one individual, but rather all of St. Luke's Allentown Campus frontline workers for their selflessness and dedication to serve our community and keep everyone safe. The proceeds raised will go toward the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Department.

On behalf of all of us at GOLD, we'd like to express our most sincere thanks and gratitude to all St. Luke's frontline workers for dedicating their lives to care and serve our community, especially in times of need.
