Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

For three decades, the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" campaign has raised lifesaving funds to support breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers through every step of their journey. The funds raised by this 3- to 5-mile non-competitive walk benefits lifesaving breast cancer research and advancing health equity through essential programs and services.

"Breast cancer has affected me and too many people I love. I chose this particular fundraising walk because of the importance of Making Strides' mission and because of the fact that a portion of the event's registration fees and 100% of donations made directly benefit the American Cancer Society," said Gina Menezes, GOLD's Communication Specialist. This year, the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in the Lehigh Valley takes place on Saturday, October 21. Please consider making a donation to support the American Cancer Society or joining Gina's team!
