Community Involvement

At GOLD, we consider the credit union to be a member of the community. It's where we live and work, and where many of you live and work too. We take part in a variety of efforts to do our part in making our community the best it can be.

What's Coming Up Next?

Look for us at Habitat for Humanity's "She Nailed It!" competition on Monday, May 10. GOLD is happy to be sponsoring the event, as well as sending four of our own team members to participate in the relay competition. To show your support, donate on our team page.

Where You'll See GOLD in the Community

She Nailed It!

Every year, Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley hosts the "She Nailed It!" fundraising competition. It's an all women nail-hammering relay competition to raise funds and awareness for affordable housing in the Lehigh Valley.

Not only is GOLD a proud sponsor of the event, we're also sending four of our own GOLDen Girls to take part in the fundraising competition. For more information or to donate, visit our team page to help us raise funds and awareness for the housing inequity women face locally and beyond.

Laura Pruitt: The Kindness Project

The Kindness Project is a donation-based nonprofit organization providing support and resources to families and children in foster care throughout the Lehigh Valley community and surrounding areas. They serve our local community by supplying families with clothing, shoes, furniture, and other necessities completely free of charge.

GOLD's Marketing Manager, Laura Pruitt, volunteers her time at the physical shop location, "The Kindness Exchange," in Emmaus. She helps serve foster families that visit the shop in need of essential items for their foster placements.
