Branch Hours By Appointment Only
Last updated 3/25/2020 at 5:00 PM
In an effort to help fight the spread of COVID-19, GOLD branch access is available by appointment only. Beginning 3/27/2020, only the Lehigh Division branch will be open for appointments.
There are two main factors that went into the decision to close the General Office branch until further notice. 1. Today, Governor Wolf extended the "Stay at Home" order to Lehigh and Northampton counties. 2. The General Office is located in the Grand Plaza building in downtown Allentown. The owners of the building have locked it and prohibited outside access.
The closure was a difficult decision made for the protection of our Members and staff. We will continue to adapt as the situation develops. Thank you for your understanding as we work to serve you through this challenging time.
If you need assistance, please call 484-223-4200 and our team will assist you over the phone. If in-person assistance is needed, we'll make an appointment for you to come into our Lehigh Division branch location. Appointments are available during normal business hours.
Routine banking needs are available through GOLD Online Banking and our staff can help you manage your money from the comfort and safety of your home, minimizing the risk to you and others during this time. If you haven’t yet signed up for online banking we encourage you to do so by clicking here or calling 484-223-4200 and our team will be happy to help you get set up.
Lending services are still fully available to you as well. You can complete loan applications online or talk to a loan officer and get questions answered over the phone at 484-223-4216. Loan closing appointments in-branch will be scheduled as needed.
Make sure you have an activated debit card so there is no need to visit the branch for cash. You can use your GOLD Debit Card to safely and securely pay for items directly from your checking account and it is accepted wherever the Visa logo is displayed. You can also withdraw cash surcharge-free from our expansive network of Allpoint ATMs.
As we navigate this unfolding situation together, know that we remain dedicated to meeting your financial needs. As your trusted financial partner, we are here for you.

Be Cautious and Alert
Protecting Yourself From Scams and Risks
In times like these, a natural reaction may be to withdraw your cash in fear that you won’t be able to access your money. We cannot emphasize enough how dangerous it is to withdraw large amounts of cash to store in your home or elsewhere. The safest way for you to protect yourself and your money is to leave it securely deposited at your credit union, where your funds are federally insured.
Scam artists take advantage of times like these to gain access to bank accounts. Protect yourself by being aware of suspicious emails and text messages. Keep your eyes open for medical supply scams, fraudulent donation sites, or anything else that seems fishy. If it seems like it could be fraud, it probably is, so listen to your gut and don’t provide your personal identification (usernames, passwords, Social Security number, etc.) unless you are dealing with a organization whom you have made the initial contact. Do not click on links or download attachments from unknown email senders, and do not make purchases or donations on any unknown sites.
