Community Involvement

At GOLD, we consider the credit union to be a member of the community. It's where we live and work, and where many of you live and work too. We take part in a variety of efforts to do our part in making our community the best it can be.

Coming up: Mobile Blood Drive on Friday, January 31.

Blood Drive

There is no substitute for human bloodyour donations are the only source for patients in need of life-saving transfusions. Miller-Keystone Blood Center is the only blood supplier for 22 hospitals in our region.

I've never given blood, what's it like?

There’s a finger prick to check your iron level, then the blood draw process itself should cause very little, if any, discomfort. The whole process is typically completed in under an hour. Wondering if you're able to give blood? Take a look at Miller-Keystone's eligibility page.

We hope you'll roll up a sleeve with us and save some lives on January 31.
