How to apply for a GOLD scholarship
The applicant must be a Member of GOLD Credit Union and be attending a college, university, technical, or vocational school. Review our scholarship application form for full eligibility requirements. Credit Union Board of Directors, volunteers, employees, immediate family members, and previous scholarship winners are not eligible.

Jesalyn Cruz-Olivera is a 2020 graduate of Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School. Jesalyn is currently the valedictorian of her senior class. She was the president of her high school’s student council for 3 consecutive years, a member of her school’s cheer leading team, and captain of the dance team. Jesalyn also played varsity soccer for William Allen for 3 years, and then played for her school’s team this past fall. She is a member of the National’s Honor Society, receiving honors every year of her high school career. She received the presidential award from President Barack Obama 3 times and is an alumni of the FE Foundation. Jesalyn will be attending Temple University studying International Business with a minor in Computer Science.
Brendon Conway is a 2019 graduate of Parkland High School. Brendon is currently attending Lehigh University studying Computer Science.
Samantha Murmello is a 2017 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. Samantha is currently attending Loyola University Chicago studying Nursing. Samantha has traveled abroad to both Italy and London. She received an academic Loyola Scholarship for her achievements.
Melissa Castillo is a 2014 graduate of William Allen High School. Melissa is currently a junior attending The University of Arts studying Illustration. As a Philadelphia based artist, Melissa Castillo's work is inspired by cats and Latin American culture. Through her university, Melissa's illustrations have been published in the Underground Pool, the student literary magazine of the University of the Arts which is published each spring by the Creative Writing program. Melissa received an Art Scholarship to attend the University and is a recipient of the Latino Leadership Award.
Taylor Klucsarits is a 2019 graduate of Northhampton Area High School. Taylor is currently attending Kutztown University studying German Education. Taylor received a BHCWA scholarship and White Walnut Scholarship.
