USPS Mail Delays Impacting GOLD

What does it mean for you?

The United States Postal Service has announced that the significant mail delays being seen around the country are a result of "unprecedented volume increases and limited employee availability due to the impacts of COVID-19."

We're hearing from you that the delays have impacted mail you've sent to GOLD, including check deposits and loan payments. We process the mail you send us on the same day it's received, crediting deposits and payments the same day as well. In some cases however, it's taking significantly longer than usual for us to receive your mail and therefore your deposits and payments are posting later than you expected.

Other Options for Deposits & Payments

The fastest way to deposit money or make a payment to your GOLD accounts is through GOLD Online Banking and the GOLD App.

Want to deposit a check? Download the GOLD App (Apple or Android) to deposit checks with your smartphone camera. We process remote deposits within one business day.

Make Loan Payments
Making loan payments in GOLD Online Banking is fast and easy. View your due dates and amount due in your Account Listing, then schedule a transfer to make your next payment from your GOLD Checking or Savings Account. 

Some of our Members mail in loan payments with a check from another financial institution, rather than paying from their GOLD accounts. You can make that work digitally, too! Rather than writing your check to GOLD, just make it out to yourself and use the GOLD App to deposit the money into your account at GOLD. Once the check has cleared, you can use Online Banking to make your loan payment with the funds now available in your account.
