Resources for Financial Education

A successful relationship with money in adulthood depends on building foundational finance skills & knowledge. Learning about money early—in the teen and young adult years—makes the transition to financial independence easier and sets the course for financial freedom.

Our mission is to help everyone achieve their vision of personal financial success. We sponsor the resources on this page to help make that possible. For the classroom setting, we're proud to offer the Knowledge Matters full financial curriculum and the Bite of Reality webinar.

Knowledge Matters Simulation

The best way to learn is by doingStudent on beanbag chair works on computer, but making money mistakes in the real world can have long-lasting consequences. Knowledge Matters helps students learn key personal finance concepts in a realistic online simulation. Teachers can leverage the Knowledge Matters simulation in their classes to teach financial literacy, career skills, and life skills to students.

GOLD is proud to sponsor Knowledge Matters in local classrooms. Are you a teacher or parent with a student that would benefit from this program? Download the informational PDF below, and we'll be in touch to talk about sponsoring your school.
